About: Born and raised in the Tirthan Valley, Mohan Thakur has been a dedicated mountaineering guide since 2009. A member of the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, he completed the M01 course from Manali in 2009. Mohan has successfully led over 20 treks above 6000 meters in regions such as Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir. His deep-rooted knowledge of the Tirthan Valley and the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) stems from a lifelong connection to the area, making him an exceptional guide for exploring these majestic landscapes.
