  • Day 1: Kasol to Grahan Village | Rhododendron Forest Exploration
    • Kickstart your adventure: Begin your Sar Pass trek in the vibrant village of Kasol, nestled in Himachal Pradesh’s Parvati Valley.
    • Easy, scenic trail: Embark on a well-traveled path to Grahan Village, winding through a lush rhododendron forest.
    • Grahan Village charm: Ascend an hour-long climb to reach Grahan Village, the last settlement on this route, and your overnight stop.
  • Day 2: Grahan to Mung Thach | Thick Forests & Mountain Views
    • Greet a new day: Rise to breathtaking, snow-capped mountain vistas and savor a delicious breakfast.
    • Local trail to Mung Thach: Trek north of Grahan on a path known to locals, with glimpses of Mung Thach, Nagaru, and Sar Top.
    • Into the woods: Ascend on a steeper path blanketed by a dense canopy of trees, leading to your Mung Thach forest campsite.
  • Day 3: Mung Thach to Nagaru | A Touch of Snow
    • Morning in the mountains: Breathe the crisp air, enjoy breakfast, and prepare for your journey from Mung Thach to Nagaru.
    • Challenging terrain: Navigate a demanding slope through the woods, adding to the sense of accomplishment.
    • Nagaru campsite views: Reach your Nagaru campsite and marvel at stunning mountain vistas, including the picturesque Parvati Valley and Manikaran town.
  • Day 4: Nagaru to Biskeri Thach | Experience Sar Pass Glory (13,800 ft.)
    • Early start, epic views: Wake early, fuel up with breakfast, and tackle a steep, snow-laden ascent to the Sar Pass summit.
    • Reach the top!: Celebrate the conquest of Sar Pass, drinking in panoramic views of the Tosh Valley’s peaks. Capture this unforgettable moment!
    • Biskeri slide & hike: Experience an exhilarating slide down Biskeri, followed by a gentle walk across streams to your Biskeri Thach camp.
  • Day 5: Biskeri Thach to Kasol via Barshaini | Farewell with Memories
    • Final leg begins: Begin your descent to Barshaini, soaking up magnificent forests, mountains, and meadows.
    • Pulga, Tulga, & Barshaini: Traverse the twin villages of Pulga and Tulga, crossing the Parvati River to reach Barshaini.
    • Journey’s end: From Barshaini, a jeep transfer marks the successful end of your Sar Pass trek in Kasol.

  • Airfare/Train Fare: You’ll need to book your travel to/from the tour’s start and endpoints separately.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation due to Natural Disasters or Unforeseen Circumstances:

Suppose a trek is cancelled at the last minute due to a natural disaster or unforeseeable circumstances (such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, attacks, or bandh). In that case, Trekking Cougars will issue a Trek voucher for the full amount. The voucher can be used for the same or a different trek over the next year.

Client Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the trek’s start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 30 and 20 days before the trek will receive a 50% refund.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 20 days before the trek begins.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 4% cancellation charge to cover processing fees. Additionally, trek insurance is non-refundable.

Trekking Cougars assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury to your clothing, equipment, or other belongings while on the trek. The trek fee covers all expenses associated with the trek, from start to finish, as outlined in the specific trek itinerary.
