Short Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Manali to Shangchar via Patlikuhal and Trek to Jamu Pani Camp (2,050m to 2,658m).
Day 2: Trek from Jamu Pani Camp to Rani Sui 360° Top and Return (2,658m to 3,900m).
Day 3: Descend from Jamu Pani Camp to Shangchar and Drive Back to Manali (2,658m to 2,050m).

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Manali to Shangchar via Patlikuhal and Trek to Jamu Pani Camp (2,050m to 2,658m)
- Distance: 6-7 km | Duration: 4-5 hours
- Embark on an exhilarating trekking adventure starting with a drive from Manali to Shangchar Village, a picturesque hamlet adorned with lush green landscapes in summer.
- Marvel at panoramic views of Deo Tibba, Indrasan, and the Bara Shingri Glacier during the scenic drive, which takes about two hours.
- Upon arrival at Shangchar, begin the trek through verdant meadows and serene ridges to reach the Jamu Pani Base Camp.
- Relish the sight of snow-clad peaks throughout the journey, capturing breathtaking moments.
- After arriving at the camp by noon, enjoy a warm, energizing lunch. Spend the day exploring the surroundings, relaxing, or indulging in group photography.
- End the day with bonfire activities under a starlit sky before a restful sleep in tents.
Day 2: Trek from Jamu Pani Camp to Rani Sui 360° Top and Return (2,658m to 3,900m)
- Distance: 14 km | Duration: 8-9 hours
- Start your day with a hearty breakfast and prepare for a steep, snowy trail offering unmatched challenges and rewards.
- Pass through trails flanked by pine forests and snow-covered peaks, with seasonal blooms like Rhododendrons and Birch Pave adding a splash of color in summer.
- Experience awe-inspiring views of the Dhauladhar range, Pir Panjal, and Deo Tibba as you trek towards the Rani Sui 360° viewpoint.
- Spend time at the summit, soaking in breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Himalayan grandeur—a perfect spot for photography and unforgettable memories.
- After relishing the moment, begin the descent back to the Jamu Pani Base Camp.
- Conclude the day with hot tea, snacks, and a peaceful evening at the camp.
Day 3: Descend from Jamu Pani Camp to Shangchar and Drive Back to Manali (2,658m to 2,050m)
- Distance: 6-7 km | Duration: 4-5 hours
- Start the descent from Jamu Pani Base Camp, retracing the scenic trail back to Shangchar Village.
- Enjoy the serene beauty of alpine meadows, pine forests, and captivating vistas.
- After arriving at Shangchar, take a drive back to Manali, cherishing memories of the trek and the natural wonders encountered during the adventure.

Transportation from Manali to Dhungri and back to Manali as per itinerary.
Comfortable stay in tents for 2 nights at Lama Dugh campsite.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation due to Natural Disasters or Unforeseen Circumstances:

Suppose a trek is cancelled at the last minute due to a natural disaster or unforeseeable circumstances (such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, attacks, or bandh). In that case, Trekking Cougars will issue a Trek voucher for the full amount. The voucher can be used for the same or a different trek over the next year.

Client Cancellations:

Cancellations made within 30 days of the trek’s start date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 30 and 20 days before the trek will receive a 50% refund.
There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 20 days before the trek begins.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 4% cancellation charge to cover processing fees. Additionally, trek insurance is non-refundable.

Trekking Cougars Responsibilities:

Trekking Cougars assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury to your clothing, equipment, or other belongings while on the trek. The trek fee covers all expenses associated with the trek, from start to finish, as outlined in the specific trek itinerary.
