  • Day 1: Drive from Dehradun railway station to Khanyasni camp (235 km, 9/10 hours)
  • Day 2: Trek from Khanyasni camp to Sarutal camp (5 km, 3/4 hours)
  • Day 3: Trek from Sarutal camp to Badang camp (8 km, 5/6 hours)
  • Day 4: Trek from Badang camp to via Vijay Top (3800 Meter) Pachi Thach (12 km, 6/7 hours)
  • Day 5: Trek from Pachi Thach camp to Fhitari village (7 km, 4/5 hours), same day drive to Sankri (36 km), overnight stay at hotel
  • Day 6: Drive from Sankri to Dehradun by taxi (210 km)
  • Day 1: Arrive in Dehradun, Journey to Khanyasni Camp
    • Dehradun Pick-up: Begin your Himalayan adventure with a convenient pick-up from Dehradun Railway Station (6:00 – 7:00 AM).
    • Scenic Drive with Stops: Immerse yourself in the beauty of the region with a picturesque drive, including stops at the iconic Mussoorie (“Queen of Hills”) and the breathtaking Kempty Falls.
    • Relax by the Yamuna: Enjoy a revitalizing break alongside the sacred Yamuna River.
    • Arrival in Khanyasni: Reach your cozy Khanyasni campsite, nestled amidst lush surroundings.
  • Day 2: Trek from Khanyasni to Sarutal
    • Village Immersion: Embark on a trek through the charming villages of Pujali and Bitri, gaining insights into the region’s rich culture and heritage.
    • Apple Orchards and Wheat Fields: Admire the picturesque landscape dotted with vibrant apple orchards and traditional agricultural fields.
    • Pine Forest Ascent: Ascend through a dense pine forest, enjoying breathtaking views of Himachal peaks and the Changsheel Valley.
    • Sarutal Camp: Reach your scenic campsite in the expansive Sarutal meadow.
  • Day 3: Sarutal to Badang, Panoramic Views
    • Mountain Panorama: Delight in a leisurely breakfast at camp, followed by a trek towards Badang, offering spectacular panoramic views of the mountain ranges.
    • Swargarohini Peak: Marvel at Swargarohini, a unique four-peaked mountain steeped in mythology.
    • Restful Streams: Recharge amidst the tranquility of the trek, with opportunities to relax by refreshing streams.
    • Badang Camp: Arrive at your Badang campsite, surrounded by the pristine beauty of the expansive meadow.
  • Day 4: Badang to Pachi Thach via Vijay Top
    • Vijay Top Ascent: Challenge yourself with an invigorating climb to Vijay Top (3800m), rewarding you with awe-inspiring views of snow-capped mountains and the Obra Valley.
    • Khimloga Pass Vistas: Capture the magnificence of the Khimloga Pass from this breathtaking vantage point.
    • Descent to Pachi Thach: Embark on a gentle descent to the picturesque Pachi Thach campsite.
  • Day 5: Pachi Thach to Sankri, Cultural Exploration
    • Final Trek: Savor the last leg of your trek (7km) as you descend to the vibrant Sankri village.
    • Village Life: Explore the local villages of Fhitari and Dhara, offering authentic glimpses of rural Himalayan life.
    • Lord Someshwar Temple: Discover the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Someshwar, a revered deity in the region.
    • Sankri Stay: Return to Sankri for a comfortable overnight stay.
  • Day 6: Departure from Sankri
    • Fond Farewells: Bid adieu to Sankri and cherish the memories as you depart for Dehradun.
    • Certificates and Photos: Receive your trek completion certificates and share celebratory photos with your trek group.

Inclusion

  • Pick and Drop Service: Transportation provided from specified location.
  • Fees: Guide and chef fees included.
  • Camping Facilities: Rent for camping facilities covered.
  • Entrance Fees: Entrance fees to the forest included.
  • Porter and Mule: Transport for camping gear provided; personal baggage can be carried by mules and/or porters for a fee.
  • Meals: Vegetarian meals provided from the first day’s dinner until the last day’s brunch.
  • Accommodation: Throughout the trek, accommodation will be provided in tents or guesthouses, if available.

Exclusion

  • Pickup and Drop: No pickup and drop service available from/for your hometown.
  • Personal Costs: Personal costs such as tips, personal medications, conference calls, etc., are not included.
  • Transportation Assistance: Limited transportation assistance provided during the trek.
  • Porter/Mule Services: Porters/mules available to carry personal luggage weighing up to 12 kg per bag per person for Rs 350 per day per bag.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation due to Natural Disasters or Unforeseen Circumstances:

Suppose a trek is cancelled at the last minute due to a natural disaster or unforeseeable circumstances (such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, attacks, or bandh). In that case, Trekking Cougars will issue a Trek voucher for the full amount. The voucher can be used for the same or a different trek over the next year.

Client Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the trek’s start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 30 and 20 days before the trek will receive a 50% refund.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 20 days before the trek begins.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 4% cancellation charge to cover processing fees. Additionally, trek insurance is non-refundable.

Trekking Cougars assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury to your clothing, equipment, or other belongings while on the trek. The trek fee covers all expenses associated with the trek, from start to finish, as outlined in the specific trek itinerary.
