  3. Booking Amount: The booking amount is non-refundable if canceled 10 days prior to the trip.
  4. Responsibility: Once you arrive at the event location, all responsibilities lie with the event organizer who has listed their event with us.
  5. Service Issues: Any service-related problems will be handled by the event organizer, as Trekking Cougars serves only as a platform for these events.

Overview

Located in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India, the Har Ki Dun Trek is a breathtaking journey through ancient villages, dense forests, and picturesque alpine meadows. Known as the “Valley of Gods,” this trek offers stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks like Swargarohini and Black Peak, making it a photographer’s paradise. Spanning approximately 47 kilometers, the trail is ideal for both seasoned trekkers and beginners, providing an immersive experience in nature, culture, and adventure.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

  • Day 2: Sankri to Seema Via Taluka

  • Day 3: Seema to Kalkati Dhar

  • Day 4: Kalkati Dhar to Har Ki Dun

  • Day5: Kalkati Dhar to Seema

  • Day 6: Seema to Sankri Via Taluka

  • Day 7: Sankri to Dehradun

Inclusion

  • Transportation : From Dehradun to Dehradun
  • Accommodation: Homestay/Hotel on a shared basis, Camping on a triple sharing basis(Tents).
  • Meals: 4-time meals Included (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks &Dinner.
  • Camping Charges: Forest Permits & camping charges
  • Guide/Team Captain
  • Safety Equipment: In case of emergency, first aid and medical kit will be available at every campsite

Exclusion

  • Meals during transit. (Dehradun to Sankri & Sankri to Dehradun)
  • Accommodation at Dehradun
  • Personal Medicine kit
  • Backpack Offloading
  • Charges of mules/porters/carrying your luggage.
  • 5% GST
  • Any kind of emergency evacuation charges.
  • Any kind of personal expenses.
  • Anything that’s not mentioned in the inclusions section

Cancellation Policy

Booking Confirmation: Upon finalizing your trek, a confirmation email will be sent detailing the specifics of the trek. To confirm your booking, a nonrefundable deposit of ₹500, which is part of the total trek cost, is required. Cancellations by the Trekker: If canceled over 30 days before the trek start date: You’re eligible for a 70% refund of the total amount (excluding the non-refundable deposit). Cancellation between 15-30 days of the trek start date: A 50% refund will be provided (excluding the non-refundable deposit). Less than 15 days to the trek start date: Regrettably, no refund can be processed.

No-Show Policy: If a trekker fails to show up on the scheduled day without prior notice to the Team, no refund will be granted. Alteration in Itinerary: Trek schedules may be modified due to unpredictable weather or decisions made by our trek leaders prioritizing the group’s safety. No refunds or compensations will be provided under these circumstances.

Disclaimer: All decisions, especially those concerning safety and well-being, made by the trek leader are final. Failure to adhere to the stated rules may lead to the trekker’s immediate removal from the trek, without any refund.

The right of admission is fully reserved with the organizer.

Any nuisance will not be tolerated and instant decisions will be taken.
For adventurous activities, everyone has to follow the expert.
We will not be liable for any personal injury, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, extra expenses, consequential loss/damage, or any misadventure.
Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings during the trek. If any item goes missing, we will not be held accountable or responsible.
The decisions taken by our team will be final and binding.
