The trek leads to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva shrine in the world, before ascending to Chandrashila Peak at an elevation of 3,690 meters (12,110 feet). The summit rewards trekkers with panoramic views of iconic Himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi, Trisul, Chaukhamba, and Kedarnath.
